Playwright bios:

Josepha Gutelius (One Hand) {not pictured} is a long-time resident of Saugerties. After graduating from Bard College, she lived in Berlin, where she was art critic and cultural correspondent for the Christian Science Monitor and Berliner Blaetter. Her plays have been staged in many venues (most recently in Nebraska and Kansas City). Published plays include Veronica Cory, RASP/Elektra and Miracle Mile.  Locally, her plays have been read or produced at Actors and Writers, Performing Arts of Woodstock, the Maverick, Phoenicia Play Fest, Bard College. Josepha is also a widely published poet and short-story writer; she illustrates Comix for private collectors. 

Meghan Kennedy's (A Bright Wind Over A Bent World) plays have been produced in Dublin, Ireland, Austin, Texas and New York City.  Her play A Bright Wind Over A Bent World was a finalist for the 2011 PlayPenn Conference, the 2011 Seven Devils Conference and the 2011 Bay Area Playwrights Festival.  She was named a 2010 Core Apprentice at The Playwrights' Center in Minneapolis and is a current semi-finalist for the 2012 P73 Playwriting Fellowship.  Meghan just received her M.F.A from The Michener Center at UT Austin where she was a fellow in playwriting. She holds a B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from the Tisch School of The Arts at NYU. 

Fengar Gael's (The Cat Vandal) plays include Drink Me, Touch of Rapture, The Usher’s Ball, Opaline, and Devil Dog Six. She has had workshops and productions at the Sundance Institute, the Utah Shakespearean Festival, the InterAct Theatre, New Jersey Repertory, the Moxie Theatre,  MultiStages, and CAP 21. She is a recipient of the Craig Noel Award, the Playwrights First Award, as well as commissions from South Coast Repertory, New Jersey Repertory, the National New Play Network, and a playwriting fellowship from the California Arts Council. Her play, The Gallerist, will be produced at the Rorschach Theatre in January 2012 and The Island of No Tomorrows will be produced by MultiStages in New York in October 2012.

Craig Pospisil (Dissonance) is the award-winning author of Months On End, Somewhere In Between, The Dunes, Life is Short and the collection Choosing Sides, all published by Dramatists Play Service.  Months On End premiered at the Purple Rose Theater and has been produced around the country and internationally.  Somewhere In Between has had more than seventy productions, including ones in New York, Chicago and Paris. He’s written numerous one-acts, and his work has been seen at Ensemble Studio Theatre, New World Stages, Bay Street, NYMF, West Coast Ensemble and Caldwell Theater; performed on four continents; and translated into Danish, French, Greek and Cantonese.  CraigPospisil.com  

Rachel White (Broken Wing) is a playwright from Louisville, Kentucky.  She graduated from the New School for Drama in 2009.  Her full-length play Green River received a workshop production at the New School for Drama New Voices Festival, and a reading at the Ensemble Studio Theater LA.  New York City credits include Blank (Strawberry One-act Festival Semi-Finalist), Broken Wing (Midtown International Theater Festival, Outstanding Production of a Short Subject), Gravity (Turnip Theater Company 15-minute Play Festival, Winner Audience Favorite).  LA credits include Blank (Moving Arts Productions One-Act Festival, Finalist).  She is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America and the Playwrights Gallery.  

Jennifer Skura (Pirate) is an artist who actively creates work across a variety of disciplines, including theatre, film, and visual arts. Written works produced in New York City include – One Acts: SWEET CITRUS; JOSEPH AND MRS. M; and AMARILLO. Screenplays: CITRUS, LESLIE, SNAKE PIT and HIGH PRIVACY [in development].
